Hether Hoffmann is an artist, paddler and documentarian from Chicago. After studying photography, videography and documentary at Ringling College of Art and Duke University, she decided to combine her two passions, film and sea kayaking. She is currently working on a documentary about three women sea kayakers from Chicago. “Paddling in Spite of the Ordinary” explores how Andrea Knepper, Bonnie Perry, and Sarah Hartman,women with everyday lives, aspire to accomplish their paddling goals.

Hether is also an exhibiting artist. Her next photography exhibit will be at the Prairie Center of the Arts in Schaumburg, IL in 2016.
