Filming and editing in December and January revealed more elements of the film’s story and the delicate seamlessness of life, community,  paddling and spiritual connectedness. During last weekend’s shoot, Bonnie A. Perry talked about how she started kayaking, paddling goals, and coaching. She also discussed how the physical and kinesthetic experience of paddling relates to spirituality.

Editing will continue through out January and February as I prepare to go to Duke’s Center for Documentary Studies. I will be workshopping my film with other filmmakers for critique and feedback.
