I am packing for filming at the Door County Sea Kayak Symposium and Great Lakes Sea Kayak Symposium.
Silicone gel packs must go in every dry bag and waterproof camera bag to prevent moisture buildup and damage. Extra batteries and SD cards will also be packed. In order to capture Bonnie Perry’s awesome on-the-water dialogue/coaching, a stereo recorder will be stashed in Bonnie’s pfd. The audio recorder can record up to 10 hours. Filming on the water means having a backup plan for your back plan. I will have various mounts set up on my kayak to accommodate different viewpoints from the GoPro and faux pro cameras.
